The third beta of the inaugural stable release of Haiku, an independently-developed, open-source operating system for personal computers, is now ready for testing. A successor of BeOS, the new Haiku release comes with an improved installer and hardware drivers, updated ports of many popular software packages, and numerous bug fixes: “Poetry is in motion.
